01

Start with the direction of the spray

Keep the head aimed into the longest protected part of the shower. Side sprays and handsets should rest where they do not point through the opening.

02

Give the screen enough work to do

A short panel may suit a photograph but not real use. Screen length, a return panel or a hinged deflector can control more water without creating a full enclosure.

03

Use floor falls and heating together

Correct falls move stray water back to the drain. Warmth and ventilation help the remaining moisture dry, but they do not replace proper water control.

What to remember

Plan the shower as a water path from head to drain. Anything in that path needs protection.
